Happy Valentine's Day!! The Ethiopian program director sent her revisions to our social worker on Wednesday, 2/13. Our wonderful social worker made the revisions and sent them back the very next day, and our home study was approved yesterday!! Our social worker is getting it notarized today and sending it to Citizenship and Immigration Services as well as the Portland, OR All God's Children Office.
Our dossier had one revision that we have to make (one of the notaries we used crossed out a date, and they're not allowed to do that), but it was an easy change. Thanks to some friends that have been through this process, we got extra notarized copies of most of our documents. I had a properly notarized copy at home, so I just have to send it in. So our dossier should be sent to the Ethiopian Consulate in Washington, D.C. early next week to be authenticated. I can't believe how close we're getting!!
