We received our monthly call from Julie, our case manager, last night, and I have no news to report. We are still waiting. Which was surprisingly good news last night. Several of the families in our position had their court date this week and did not get the official decree. They had to reschedule their date, and the next available time is November due to the huge backlog of families from the courts being closed.
As far as I know, our court date has not yet happened. Julie thought it might be mid-Oct (next week?) but wasn't sure. So we are praying that everything is in order in our file when it is our turn to go to court (actually the orphanage director goes for us with our POA), and we will get the decree first try. Hopefully the next post will have good news, like dates!
