Saturday night we went over to the Wolfes', the family who are travelling with us in 4 (yes, only 4!) days for a packing party. Over the summer, we collected donations at our church, and then we had a formula drive the past 3 weeks. Over the summer we took some of the donations, and the Wolfes took some. Somehow, I thought that we had divided them evenly, and was astounded at how much we have been given!!

What we packed at their house didn't include the 15 cases (!) of formula that I had gotten from our pediatrician and a formula rep, plus other formula from friends. We also received money from many generous friends and family to buy formula and diapers. Can you believe we got most of this in our bags? We will be sending most of the money on to our agency so other families can do the same. Thanks to everyone who has contributed -- whether it be by your thoughts, prayers, kind words, money, or formula -- your love and generosity are amazing!!

Holy Cow!
1. You are leaving in FOUR days! That's insane!
2. How did you manage to pack all that? That's incredible!
3. Can't wait for you to go and come back so that you can tell me how it is! So very exciting!!!
I don't know how you did it! Did you unwrap the diapers and put individual ones around stuff? I'm not ready to tackle the donations and packing project yet. We haven't even started our nursery yet!! Which is ok, because we don't have a referral yet. It's all ok. It's all ok. Just keep swimming...I keep telling myself that a lot when I think of the long long list of things to do before baby gets here!
SO EXCITING!!!! Have a fantastic trip, kiss my little girl if you can, and enjoy EVRY SINGLE SECOND of your trip!! God is awesome!
